Half writing workshop and half learning art history by doing, we'll engage in practice mapping, deep looking, extemporaneous writing, play, read writing by artists together, and (hopefully) make friends. We’ll also talk about how to structure an artist statement, workshopping our artist statements, and experiment with forms such as the instruction, the manifesto, and the communiqué.
